Abdellatif El Ouarari
Poète et essayiste marocain de langue arabe. Né en 1972, à El jadida. Il a reçu de nombreux prix littéraires, et a publié plusieurs recueils et essais, dont « La Promesse de nuages » (Rabat, 2005), « Antidote » (Beyrouth, 2009), « Glissements de sens dans la poésie arabe » (Sharjah, 2009), « Critique du rythme : la notion de rythme et ses expressions esthétiques chez les Arabes » (Rabat, 2011), « Mémoire pour un autre jour » (Marrakech, 2013), « Poèsie et Prose dans la tradition rhétorique et de la critique arabe » (Riyad, 2013) et « Lumière et fumée: fragments autobiographiques» (Tanger, 2016).
biography
who lost his father at a young age, belongs to what is known as the ‘new sensibility’ generation of poets writing at the beginning of the 21st century. He is an important Moroccan poet and also one of the most highly esteemed young Moroccan critics. In 2007 he received the Naji Naaman Merit Award in Beirut, and in 2009 the Sharjah Award of Literary Criticism. The poet currently lives in Agadir, Morocco, where he works as a teacher of Arabic.
